Seize the Moment!

Now is the time to chase the trout on our foothill lakes! Every year in the Fall, conditions are such that the deep lakes " turn-over ". When this occurs, the surface temps decrease enough that the trout are comfortable  at the surface + threadfin shad near the surface = trout blitzing like stripers!! Don't wait too long, as the water gets colder, the shad will drop into deeper and deeper water as the winter progresses.

Chasing rainbows under rainbows!

These fish are little piggies and hotter than a pistol!

Try 1-1.5"  long threadfin shad imitations.
