Once again,it will be showing at Modesto's beautifully restored, art-deco State Theatre. It was originally built in 1930's and was the theater in my teens. It's really great to see historic Modesto buildings preserved.

The Drake Fly Fishing Film Tour is making it's return to Modesto on Thursday, March 18, 2010. As in last years event, the local fly fishing club, the Stanislaus Fly Fishers, will be conducting the event. Proceeds will benefit local disabled veterans, mostly those suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, though the non-profit organization " Rivers of Recovery ".
